Archiving Policy

EBGC is committed to the long-term preservation of, and continued access to, all published articles.

1. PKP Preservation Network

EBGC uses the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) provided by the Public Knowledge Project. Through the free PKP PN plugin in Open Journal Systems, published articles are automatically deposited into a secure, distributed preservation network.

2. LOCKSS

The PKP PN is based on the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system, which keeps multiple copies of the content in different locations. This reduces the risk of losing content and ensures continued access.

3. Other Archiving

Article metadata is also registered with Crossref and Garuda.
