About the Journal

The Journal of Economics, Business, and Government Challenges (JoEBGC) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jawa Timur, Indonesia. The journal publishes research addressing challenges in economics, business, and government, with coverage including international business, business economics, business ethics, auditing, banking, entrepreneurship, marketing management, financial management, management strategy, operational management, human resource management, management accounting, management control systems, management information systems, and government-related challenges. The journal welcomes scholarly contributions that demonstrate the relevance and originality of their research topics.

Vol. 9 No. 1 (2026): Journal of Economics, Business, and Government Challenges [JoEBGC]

We are pleased to present Volume 9, Number 1 (2026) of the Journal of Economics, Business, and Government Challenges (JoEBGC), featuring six articles by twelve authors: eleven from Indonesia and one from Malaysia. The articles examine MSME sales capabilities, artificial intelligence and financial sustainability in Malaysia’s Sharia-compliant transportation and logistics sector, cloud computing and business sustainability, campaign fund accountability, carbon emissions disclosure, and income tax compliance. We thank the authors, reviewers, and editorial team for their contributions. We hope this issue provides useful insights for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
